The Blog

I learned during my time as a journalism major that blogging is a part of the new journalism age. I also think it's a great way for people to stay connected. Anyways, that being said. This is going to be my attempt to blog. Unlike other blogs, I don't have any cute kids of my own to put on here. I hope that this just turns into a way for me to escape and continue to enjoy writing.

About Me.

I just graduated from the University of North Texas with a double major in public relations and history. Needless to say, all the reports I've read over the last few years about how difficult it is to find a job are proving true for me. But, I am not discouraged, not yet anyways. I do have my moments of frustration, especially when I see people without college degrees in positions I could be in. I know God has a plan for me, but sometimes I get impatient.

In the meantime, I am helping my mom do some projects around the house. It is nice to have free time again. I've already read two books and am almost done with a third.

I hope you all enjoying traveling this road with me as I begin experiencing my "Life After College."
